I have been intrigued by the cuddly hand-made play dolls that I have seen on flickr recently. They are called Waldorf dolls. I know that some homeschooling parents, others too, as well as parents with children in Waldorf schools recognize the value of well made toys. Because I love children and enjoy sewing and creating dolls, I decided to make a few of this style doll. It has been a very satisfying endeavor! Here are some of my dolls.

I finished making my first Izannah Walker doll this week. The pattern is by Dixie Redmond based on historic dolls from the 19th century. I have been taking an online workshop.
